About this spot
Galinhos is a kitesurf spot in Brazil. Galinhos is a peninsula around 100 km from São Miguel do Gostoso; you park at the end of the RN-402 and cross by boat. Wind lasts into February, and the region has one of the driest microclimates on the Brazilian coast. The Galinhos–Macau downwinder with an entry into the mangroves is popular.
The spot works best with wind from E, NE; the windiest period is Jul–Feb. The water is mostly flat. It suits intermediates and advanced riders.
