Halmstad – Tylösand is a kitesurf and windsurf spot in Sweden. Well-known bathing beach west of Halmstad, home of the Swedish lifeguards. In W wind an offshore island shelters it from swell – very good for slalom and freeride, often the venue for Swedish regattas.
The spot works best with wind from W, SW, NW; the windiest period is Apr–Oct. Expect choppy water most of the time. It suits intermediates and advanced riders.
