Hanko – Silversand is a kitesurf spot in Finland. Town beach on the north side of Hanko (Lähteentie), for all levels according to Leijasurffaus.fi. Sandy bottom; depending on the water level it gets deep quickly. Chop in all wind directions.
The spot works best with wind from W, NW, N; the windiest period is May–Oct. Expect choppy water most of the time. It suits beginners, intermediates and advanced riders.

Watch out for: Reef with stones about 100 m off the shore level with the campsite, partly marked. Some underwater stones at the beach. Trees close to the waterline.
