About this spot
Katwijk – Beach (Airtime/KBS) is a kitesurf and surf spot in the Netherlands. The municipality of Katwijk permits kitesurfing in front of the beach sections of the clubs Skuytevaert, KBS and Airtime. You must be a (day) member of a local club and wear its lycra. Outside the period from 1 April to 1 October kiting is permitted everywhere.
The spot works best with wind from SW, W, NW, N; the windiest period is Oct–Mar. Depending on the swell there are waves. It suits intermediates and advanced riders.
