About this spot
Lefkada – Agios Ioannis (Milos Beach) is a kitesurf, wingfoil and windsurf spot in Greece. Agios Ioannis at the north-west tip of Lefkada (by the three windmills) is the island's kite spot, as kiting is banned all year in Vassiliki. From May to September a thermal wind sets in every day from midday. There is a surf and kite school on the beach with lessons and rental.
The spot works best with wind from NW, W, SW (thermal); the windiest period is May–Sep. Expect choppy water most of the time. It suits beginners, intermediates and advanced riders.
