About this spot
Limnos – Gomati is a windsurf and surf spot in Greece. Gomati on the north coast of Limnos needs a NE Meltemi of about 22 kn or more; then waves up to 4 m roll in across a wave zone around 200 m wide. Experienced riders launch near the taverna, beginners on the north-west side with side-shore wind. The drive from Keros takes around 40 minutes on dusty gravel tracks.
The spot works best with wind from NE (Meltemi); the windiest period is Jun–Sep. Depending on the swell there are waves. It suits advanced riders.
