About this spot

Mykonos – Ftelia is a windsurf and surf spot in Greece. Ftelia Bay on the north coast of Mykonos is a wave spot with a long fetch; the N wind blows onshore into the bay. Launching is in the western part in front of the beach club on sandy ground; from about 20 kn, waves reach mast height. There is no windsurf centre, so you need your own gear.

The spot works best with wind from N, NE, NW (Meltemi); the windiest period is Jun–Sep. Depending on the swell there are waves. It suits intermediates and advanced riders.
