Neeltje Jans – Roompotsluis is a kitesurf and surf spot in the Netherlands. According to Zeeland tourism, kitesurfers are welcome on Neeltje Jans; only reachable by car. Quiet spot: from the Roompotsluis car park it is a fair walk north to the kite beach. Little current thanks to the pier; fairly shallow at low tide, short waves at high tide.
The spot works best with wind from SW, W, NW, N; the windiest period is Sep–May. Depending on the wind you get flat water, chop or waves. It suits intermediates and advanced riders.
