About this spot
Petrosino – Punta Biscione is a kitesurf and surf spot in Italy. The coast at Petrosino between Marsala and Mazara del Vallo has many rocky coves and narrow sandy beaches, which makes launching difficult. Kiting only takes place from October to the end of April; in summer there are too many swimmers. In 2019 Petrosino hosted the Italian kite wave championship.
The spot works best with wind from W, NW, SW; the windiest period is Oct–Apr. Depending on the swell there are waves. It suits intermediates and advanced riders.
