About this spot
Podersdorf am See – Kite Beach (North Beach) is a kitesurf, wingfoil and windsurf spot in Austria. Four kite and windsurf schools and a sailing school are based on the north beach of Podersdorf; they offer lessons for all levels and equipment rental. Right on the beach there are storage spaces (surf boxes) for your own equipment. Lake Neusiedl is a steppe lake with very shallow water (less than 2 m).
The spot works best with wind from N, NW, W; the windiest period is Apr–Oct. Expect choppy water most of the time. It suits beginners, intermediates and advanced riders.
