About this spot

Neusiedl am See – Lido is a windsurf spot in Austria. At the Neusiedl lido, S wind works best: onshore, steady and without gusts; NW also works but is gustier. In front of the bay the water is standing depth; with S wind a short, steep chop builds up. There is a surf and sailing school with rental on site; in summer the lido charges an entrance fee.

The spot works best with wind from S, SW, NW; the windiest period is Mar–Oct. Expect choppy water most of the time. It suits beginners, intermediates and advanced riders.
