About this spot
Pointe d'Esny – Lagoon is a kitesurf, wingfoil and windsurf spot in Mauritius. The largest lagoon in Mauritius on the south-east coast, protected by a coral reef, with clear, shallow water. Wind from May to October mostly 15–20 knots; the reef keeps the swell out. Considered an ideal place for your first kite sessions; schools also offer foil lessons.
The spot works best with wind from SE, E, S; the windiest period is May–Oct. The water is mostly flat. It suits beginners and intermediates.
