About this spot
Rodrigues – Pointe Coton is a kitesurf spot in Mauritius. Beach on the north-east coast of Rodrigues at the Cotton Bay hotel, with its own small beach. A turquoise flat-water lagoon with a soft sandy bottom surrounds the island, good for freestyle. SE trade wind strongest from June to October, often 20–25 knots.
The spot works best with wind from SE, E; the windiest period is Jun–Oct. The water is mostly flat. It suits intermediates and advanced riders.
