About this spot

San Juan – Punta Las Marías (Ocean Park) is a kitesurf and windsurf spot in Puerto Rico. Punta Las Marías at the end of Park Boulevard is the most popular launch site in the San Juan area, with parking at the beach, a lawn for setting up and a safe sandy beach. An offshore barrier reef keeps the water relatively calm – freeride all year round. There are water sports schools with lessons and rental on site.

The spot works best with wind from E, NE (trade wind); the windiest period is Dec–Aug. Expect choppy water most of the time. It suits intermediates and advanced riders.
