About this spot
Wallersee – Seekirchen Lido is a kitesurf and windsurf spot in Austria. The bathing beach of Seekirchen on the Wallersee is ideal in E wind, especially outside the peak season. The launch is at a large jetty; for the first few metres you have to tack upwind out of the bay. There is a restaurant on the beach; kiters are out here too.
The spot works best with wind from E, NE; the windiest period is Apr–Oct. Expect choppy water most of the time. It suits intermediates and advanced riders.
