The Rügen Piraten run their station in Dranske on the Wittow peninsula, at Am Ufer 14 - the windiest corner in the far north of Rügen. Off the Bug lies shallow Bodden water with safe learning zones in every wind direction, plus a well-known spot for wind, kite and SUP.
They teach windsurfing, kitesurfing, wing surfing and wing foiling, as well as SUP. Kite tuition runs with VDWS-licensed instructors in small groups of two to four students per instructor, with the option to earn the VDWS kite licence. If you already ride, you can work on your level here. Training camps are part of the programme too.
