Surfschule Niendorf/Ostsee is on Strandstraße in Niendorf near Timmendorfer Strand, in the heart of Lübeck Bay. The focus is windsurfing, with SUP and wing foiling on top, in the tide-free, flat Baltic water of the bay. The ten-hour beginner course starts weekly and is open from age eight, taught in small groups by certified instructors. As a VDWS school the tuition follows a recognised standard, and you can sit the VDWS surf certificate at the end.
The flat bay and the short hop from the A1 make Niendorf an easy spot for beginners.
