Båstad – Beach East of the Harbour is a kitesurf and windsurf spot in Sweden. Wide sandy beach with parking east of Båstad harbour. Best in NW, usually relaxed freeride/slalom; with wind from the left also waves. According to Visit Båstad, the schools Båstad Kite and Kites & Things offer lessons on the Bjäre peninsula.
The spot works best with wind from NW, N, W; the windiest period is Apr–Oct. Expect choppy water most of the time. It suits intermediates.
