Gran Canaria – Jinámar (Bocabarranco) is a kitesurf and surf spot in Spain. Kite spot between Las Palmas and Telde in the north-east of Gran Canaria, particularly good for wave riding with a kite. Rideable all year, best in summer and at low tide; sandy bottom with some rocks. Big waves outside the breakwater – experience needed.
The spot works best with wind from NE, N; the windiest period is Jun–Sep. Depending on the swell there are waves. It suits intermediates and advanced riders.
