About this spot
Cape Town – Dolphin Beach (Table View) is a kitesurf and surf spot in South Africa. Busy kite spot on Marine Drive in Table View, known for wave riding and wakestyle. Set up on the beach or on the grass areas behind the car park at the Dolphin Beach complex. Swell mostly 1–3 m; on good days at least 150 kites on the water. The SE ("Cape Doctor") blows strongly and reliably in the summer half of the year.
The spot works best with wind from SE, S, SW; the windiest period is Oct–Apr. Depending on the swell there are waves. It suits intermediates and advanced riders.
