About this spot

Kos – Psalidi is a kitesurf, wingfoil and windsurf spot in Greece. Psalidi, east of Kos Town, is the island's best-known kite and windsurf spot, with several centres. The Meltemi is strengthened by a venturi effect between Kos and the Turkish mainland; mostly easy freeriding with small chop. Kitesurfers have their own zone upwind of the windsurf centres; the season runs roughly from May to October.

The spot works best with wind from NW, N (Meltemi); the windiest period is May–Oct. Expect choppy water most of the time. It suits beginners, intermediates and advanced riders.
