About this spot
Langeland – Drejet Strand (Spodsbjerg) is a kitesurf and windsurf spot in Denmark. Blue Flag beach on the east coast of Langeland south of Spodsbjerg, three car parks at the beach. Fine sand, the water stays shallow far out; according to the tourist office also suitable for windsurfing and kitesurfing. Beach approx. 500 m long; toilets at the south end.
The spot works best with wind from NE, E, SE; the windiest period is May–Sep. The water is mostly flat. It suits beginners and intermediates.
