About this spot
Nakskov Fjord – Albuen (Søndernor) is a kitesurf and windsurf spot in Denmark. You ride in the Søndernor bay near Albuen Camping in Nakskov Fjord, with access from the car park. Large, very safe flat-water area; according to the tourist office the best spot in N wind on Lolland-Falster and best for kiting. Enter the water only from the dike, not from the Albuen spit.
The spot works best with wind from N, NE, NW; the windiest period is Apr–Oct. The water is mostly flat. It suits beginners and intermediates.
