About this spot

Attica – Artemida (Loutsa) is a kitesurf and windsurf spot in Greece. On the east coast of Attica, Artemida (Loutsa) gets the steadiest and strongest N winds on the peninsula. Several clubs offer rental and lessons for kite and windsurf; near the shore it is shallow and sandy. At Nissakia it is very exposed: bigger waves for advanced riders upwind of the headland, flatter in its lee.

The spot works best with wind from N, NE, E; the windiest period is May–Sep. Depending on the wind you get flat water, chop or waves. It suits beginners, intermediates and advanced riders.
