About this spot

Murter – Betina is a windsurf spot in Croatia. Betina on the Murter peninsula is considered the best spot in the area with Bora: a more northerly Bora comes sideshore with small chop. Jugo from the SE comes cross-onshore from the right, a more southerly Jugo sideshore; this produces wind swell of up to about 50 cm. Pebble beach stretching several hundred metres with only a few metres of standing depth; plenty of parking right by the water.

The spot works best with wind from N, NE, SE, S (Jugo); the windiest period is Sep–May. Expect choppy water most of the time. It suits intermediates and advanced riders.
