About this spot
Lake Vrana – Prosika is a windsurf spot in Croatia. At the southern end of Vransko jezero (Lake Vrana) you launch to the right of the small harbour of Prosika from a short stretch of beach. With the Jugo from the SE (sideshore from the right, rather gusty) flat water forms over a width of around 200 m – good for freestyle; the lake is 1–2 m deep. Access within the nature park is subject to a fee from Easter to October.
The spot works best with wind from SE (Jugo); the windiest period is Apr–Oct. The water is mostly flat. It suits intermediates and advanced riders.
