About this spot
Pirovac – Uvala Stinica is a windsurf spot in Croatia. At the entrance to Pirovac (by the petrol station), best with southerly Jugo to SSE and with WNW thermal wind; the Jugo comes cross-onshore from the left. Depending on the wind, flat water up to about 50 cm of chop; entry over coarse gravel, standing-depth area only about 5 m wide. Parking along the unpaved access road; there is no station or rental on site.
The spot works best with wind from S, SE, NW (thermal); the windiest period is Apr–Oct. Expect choppy water most of the time. It suits intermediates and advanced riders.
