About this spot
Naxos – Alyko is a windsurf spot in Greece. At the Alyko headland in south-west Naxos the Meltemi comes from the right; further out there are small ramps for jumping. There is no surf infrastructure on the narrow beach; parking is further away along the road. In storms the south side of the headland offers shelter.
The spot works best with wind from N, NW (Meltemi); the windiest period is Jun–Sep. Expect choppy water most of the time. It suits intermediates and advanced riders.
