About this spot
Paternoster is a kitesurf and surf spot in South Africa. Fishing village on the West Coast, about 10 km beyond Vredenburg; park at the end of the houses and set up on the beach. With SW (onshore) and swell, good lefts and rights in the bay towards Stompneus Bay.
The spot works best with wind from SW; the windiest period is Oct–Apr. Depending on the swell there are waves. It suits intermediates and advanced riders.
