Windsurfing Wulfen sits at the Wulfener Hals campsite on the southern side of Fehmarn, right on the Burger Binnensee – a shallow standing area regarded as one of Germany's largest surf spots. The low water depth makes practising safe in almost any wind and weather, which is what draws beginners and families here.

From early April to the end of October, up to twelve experienced VDWS instructors teach windsurfing, kitesurfing in small groups, wingfoiling, SUP and catamaran sailing. Kids start from age six in Bambini courses. If you want a VDWS kite licence – required at many stations to rent gear – you can earn it here. Windsurf, wing and SUP equipment is available to rent.
